By the end of a 3-day NFPA 1550 Safety Officer Course, the student will leave equipped with:

    • Skills to conduct risk identification, risk assessment, and risk-control planning.
    • Knowledge to develop, implement, and manage an agency-wide Risk Management Plan.
    • Improved competency in safety-related decision-making.
    • The ability to establish and evaluate wellness, fitness, and behavioral-health components.
    • A clear understanding of leadership expectations for health and safety officers.

Safety Officer Training to NFPA 1550

This training consolidates the NFPA Standards 1500, 1521, and 1561 into the new NFPA 1550.
