By the end of a 3-day NFPA 1550 Safety Officer Course, the student will leave equipped with:

- Knowledge to develop, implement, and manage an agency-wide Risk Management Plan.
- Improved competency in safety-related decision-making.
- The ability to establish and evaluate wellness, fitness, and behavioral-health components.

The Incident Safety Officer course is a 3-day class utilizing the latest curriculum to educate the student in health and safety, hazmat safety, and incident safety management.

When: February 9th - 11th, 2026 (0800 to 1630 hours daily)
Where: This course is held at the St. Bernard FD at 4200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45217.
Registration Deadline January 9th, 2026
$350/student +$12 service fee when paying by credit card. You can also pay by PO and avoid the additional fee.
