ASCENT FD ACT offers training for the following NFPA Professional Qualification levels. Experienced Chief Officers instruct all our officer programs. Experienced specialists teach all our hazardous materials, operator, and technical rescue programs.

Driver/Operator: Includes real-world strategy and tactics training

  • Pumper (24 hours): Fire Apparatus with Pump (NFPA 1010)
  • Aerial (16 hours): Fire Apparatus with Aerial Device (NFPA 1010)

Technical Rescue: (NFPA 1006)

  • Rope Rescue (80 hours): Awareness, Operations, Technician

  • 16-Hour HAZMAT & All-Hazards Incident Command

  • 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher
    Meets: 29 CFR 1910.120, 40 CFR 311, NFPA 470
